Violet Wong Partridge, 90, of Turners Falls, Massachusetts, passed away on October 30, 2024. Born in 1934, she grew up in Northampton, MA, with her 11 siblings, graduating from Northampton High 1951. For 2 years she served in the Air Force, where she met her husband of nearly 65 years, and was predeceased by, Kenneth Partridge. She is survived by 3 of her siblings: James, Helen, and Winifred Wong; her 4 children: Paula Kendrick (Gary), John, David (Natalie) and Debra; as well as 7 grandchildren: Alex, Nick, Madeline, Nathan, Julia, Amelia, and Michael.
A talented athlete in her youth, and later an expert baker (her famous jelly cookies), cook (Chinese dishes) and gardener extraordinaire (tomatoes) - Violet was a woman of many talents and led a long and impressive life. She was loved her for her fierceness, generosity, strength, intelligence, courage, and kindness. With her husband often by her side, she fed so many people with her tasty cooking and vast garden, and gave so much to her whole family. She is loved deeply and will be missed by many.
