Robert Raymond “Pops” Streeter, 81, of 21B Elm Terrace Apartment, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at home following a period of declining health.   A native of Greenfield, MA, he was born on July 20, 1933 to Francis H. and Irene D. (King) Streeter and was educated in local public schools, a graduate of Greenfield High School in the Class of 1952.
Robert enlisted in the United States Army on May 12, 1953 and served honorably during the Korean Conflict assigned to the 5th Field Battery HQ.  He attained the rank of Pvt. 2nd Class and was discharged on Jun 4, 1954.
He was employed by the former Bill’s Restaurant as a kitchen assistant, and for the former Inkwell News stand in Greenfield, MA, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Greenfield, MA and the former VFW Post in Turners Falls, MA.
Survivors include his children: Eric J. Streeter and his wife Jeanette, of Greenfield, MA; Tina Streeter-Pellerin and her husband, James, of Statesville, North Carolina and Sonja Bundy and her husband John, of Madison, Wisconsin. Pops leaves his adoring grandchildren: Justin Spadling, Samantha Spadling-Pellerin, Nicholas Streeter and Jacob Streeter and 8 great grandchildren. 
Additionally, he leaves his former wife and companion, Judith Ann (Sell) Streeter Flynn, of Greenfield, MA, as well as his brothers: Charles A. Streeter of Greenfield, MA and Alton E. Streeter of Citrus Springs, FL.  He was predeceased by his grandson Garrick Streeter in 1985 and by his brothers: Donald, Richard, Kenneth and most recently, Francis H. Streeter on February 26, 2015. 
Private funeral services will be observed at the convenience of the family, with interment to take place in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA, with full military honors to be observed, with members of the 54th Massachusetts Army National Guard in attendance. Visiting hours will be omitted.  Expressions of affection in the form of a charitable contribution in Robert’s memory are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project, Massachusetts Chapter, #150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202, Cambridge, MA 02140.
