Patrice Léonard Hubert Luzi passed away in the final days of winter, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, integrity, and devotion to his craft.
His name, derived from the Latin patricius, means “noble head of the family,” a meaning he carried with natural dignity throughout his life. Principled and deeply honest, Patrice believed in doing things the right way. He was a man of steady courage — not loud, but enduring — and remained true to himself even when life was heavy.
As the founder of Water, Earth & Flowers, Patrice worked closely with the natural world he loved. Through soil, stone, water, and bloom, he shaped landscapes that reflected patience, care, and beauty. Nature was both his livelihood and his refuge.
He will be remembered for his strength, his quiet devotion, and the integrity with which he lived. Those who loved him will think of him in the turning seasons and in the flowers that return each spring.
He is deeply missed and remains in our hearts forever.
