Pamela Jean Shebell, 65, of 7 Meadow Street, in the Riverside section of Gill, MA died peacefully at home on Friday, January 9, 2015 following a period of declining health.
She was born on October 20, 1949 in Greenfield, MA to Charles D. and Marjorie A. (Erving) Shebell and was educated in Gill Public Schools.  Pamela worked for Amherst College in the Food Service Division, for Burger King Restaurant in Greenfield, MA, for Mayhew Steel Corporation and for Community Enterprises. 
She was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Turners Falls, MA.  She was predeceased by her parents: her father, Charles in January of 2012 and by her mother, Marjorie in June of 2014.  She leaves her siblings to remember her with great affection: Donald A. Shebell and Douglas G. Shebell of Gill, MA. Additionally she leaves her Aunt, Bernice Brooks of Leyden, MA and her Uncle-in-law, Steve Barber of Bernardston, MA (husband of the late Nellie Barber).  She also leaves several cousins.   
Pamela’s family extends a special acknowledgement to Nina, Tami and Te for their compassionate care provided throughout Pam’s journey and also to Hospice of Franklin County, The Arc and Overlook Visiting Nurses.     
Funeral services will be observed at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, located at the corners of 7th Street and Prospect St., Turners Falls, MA, on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 11:00AM. Rev. Marnie Keator, Vicar of St. Andrew’s will officiate.  Rites of committal and burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Main Road, Gill, MA.  A reception will follow at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, 20 School Street, Greenfield, MA.   
It is suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions as an expression of affection be directed in Pamela’s name to; Hospice of Franklin County, 329 Conway Street, Suite 2, Greenfield, MA 01301.
