Marilyn Flora (Miller) Letourneau, 85, formerly of Greenfield Road, Montague Center, MA and a resident of the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility, 130 Colrain Road, Greenfield, MA, died peacefully on October 27, 2015 following a period of declining health. 
A native of Greenfield, MA, Marilyn was born on November 16, 1929 to Marjorie Irene (Putnam) Miller and Harry Lyman Miller.  She was educated in Greenfield Public Schools and was a graduate of GHS in the Class of 1947.
She married Adam H. Letourneau, on July 31, 1948 in Holy Trinity Church in Greenfield, MA and celebrated nearly 47 years of marriage prior to his passing on May 9th, 1995.  Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren above all. Her many pastimes included flower gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling, in particular to Florida.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Turners Falls, MA.
Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her children: Edward F. Letourneau of Turners Falls, MA; John A. Letourneau and his wife Deborah, of Montague Center, MA; Karen A. Goodrow (Raymond) of South Daytona, FL; Angela M. Letourneau of Athol, MA; Jeanne B. Pluta and her partner, Robert Forrestall of Greenfield, MA and Marie A. Canterbury of Gainesville, VA.  She is also remembered by her 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren who adore her. Additionally, Marilyn leaves her twin identical sister Marilla Lupien of Belchertown, MA and several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews who will remember her with great affection.  She was predeceased by her sister Stella Wilde in August of 2011.
Funeral services in celebration of Marilyn’s life will be observed on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00AM, from the McCarthy Funeral Homes, 14 Prospect Street, Turners Falls, MA with a Catholic Rite of Burial service to be offered by Rev. Fr. Stanley J. Aksamit, Pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Turners Falls, MA. Rites of committal and burial will follow in the Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Turners Falls, MA.  The Letourneau family will receive guests on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Expressions of affection in the form of a charitable contribution in Marilyn’s memory are suggested in lieu of flowers to the resident’s activity fund of the Charlene Manor Extended Nursing Facility, 130 Colrain Road, Greenfield, MA 01301 or to Hospice of Franklin County, 329 Conway Street, Suite #2, Greenfield, MA 01301.
