Linda L.(LaBrack) Combs passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2021, after a brief illness. She was 80 years old. She was born in Clinton, Ma on November 27, 1941. The daughter of Oscar and Helen (Bixby) LaBrack.
Linda married the love of her life, Raymond on July 19, 1959. They were married for 62 years and had four children together, daughter Susan and sons: Paul, Andrew, and Christopher. They spent many years as a family camping, boating, skiing and playing hockey. Linda also liked playing softball. Linda worked at Prime Computer in Framingham for many years and retired from Durand Chevrolet in Hudson, Ma.
Linda and Raymond moved to Vermont full time after retirement and enjoyed activities together such as kayaking, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, gardening and raising chickens. She loved to sew, knit, quilting, doing crafts, cooking for her family, going shopping at TJMaxx with her daughter, making her house in Vermont a home for her and Ray.
Linda belonged to many groups and enjoyed going to the senior center for bone builders, crafts and serving lunch and seeing friends. She especially loved her crafting, shopping and glassblowing with her best buddies Gail#1 and Gail#2.
She leaves behind her beloved puppies: Chico and Sophie, her daughter Susan and her favorite son in law Christopher Ferrecchia, her son Paul and daughter-in-law Patti, her son Andrew and daughter-in-law Ann, her son Christopher and daughter-in -law Bonnie, her grandchildren Patrician Rivers and husband Brian, Joseph Ferrecchia, Gabrielle Ferrecchia Roseberry her wife Curi, Ryan Combs and wife Tatianna, Peter Combs, Kyle Combs and wife Kathleen, Kevin Combs and Michael Combs, great grandchildren Genevieve Rivers, Odin Rivers, Nico Fuscombs, Abrianna Fucombs, Alexzander Combs and Kahlia Combs. Linda loved spoiling her grand dogs Chuck, Beans, Cara Mia, Gus, Raffa, Malik, Auri and Mopsy when they came to visit.
Thank you to the Staff at Baystate Franklin Hospital in Greenfield for the wonderful care they gave. Thank you to the West Halifax and Jacksonville First Responders. Thank you for the professionalism, care and support given by McCarthy Funeral Home in Greenfield, MA for Linda's final wish of cremation. Linda was a strong and beautiful woman. She will be missed by all.
The family will have a celebration of Linda’s life in the Spring of 2022.
