Montague Center, MAJohn W. Aubry died peacefully on July 27, 2021, at UMass Memorial Hospital from complications of kidney failure. Born in Greenfield on March 24, 1963, John was a life-long resident of Montague Center and a graduate of Turners Falls High School. He did farm work and lawn care and volunteered for many town events. He was a proud member of the Montague Center Volunteer Fire department. He enjoyed fishing in the Sawmill River and was a member of the Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Bill Aubry, and is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Aubry Santoro (Gian Franco), Kathryn Aubry McAvoy (John), and Marilyn Sena (Thomas) with whom he made his home. UJ (Uncle John) will also be missed by his nieces and nephews Noah, Sam, Harry, Andy, Lauren, and Caroline. The family wishes to thank his many friends in the village (especially those at the Congregational Church), the physicians and staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center in Greenfield, and the staff at Wachusett Rehabilitation Center in Gardner.
