Shelburne, MassachusettsHarrison “Harry” Allen Hall, Jr., 66, of 2217 Mohawk Trail, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Charlene Manor Extended Nursing Facility, 130 Colrain Road, Greenfield, MA, following a period of declining health.A native of North Adams, MA, he was born on April 22, 1948 to Harrison A. Hall, Sr., and Jacqueline Bartlett and was educated in local public schools. He enlisted in the US Army in January of 1966 and served during the Vietnam War with the 3rd US Army. He attained the rank of Specialist 5th Class and was honorably discharged in May of 1969.Harrison was the proprietor of the former Keg Lounge in Greenfield, MA, as well as the Depot Tap Room in Monroe Bridge, MA. He was a member for several years of the American Legion Post and VFW Post in Shelburne Falls, MA, as well as a member of the Eagles Society. He was a licensed security officer and received a certificate from Mid-Florida Technical Community College in Kissimmee, FL.In his leisure time, he loved to cook and travel, with favorite destinations of Mexico, Florida, Paradise Island, Nassau and Las Vegas, NV, where he enjoyed "games of chance” at the casinos. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 20 years, Lisa J. Hall, whom he married on May 18, 1995 in Kissimmee, FL. Additionally, he leaves his two children: Judy Hall of Northfield, MA and Peter Chandler of Greenfield, MA. He also leaves his brother-in-law Peter Kupiek of Mohawk, NY, husband of the late Jacqueline (Hall) Kupiek who predeceased him in 2014. Additionally, there are several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews to remember him. Funeral services in celebration of Harry’s life will be private and at the convenience of the family. Formal services and visiting hours are omitted, as was his request.
