George Craig Obituary

George (Geo) Craig 62 passed away on June 24, 2022, at North Adams Common Nursing and Rehab. George was born in St. Albans, VT., on April 12, 1960 the son of George and Lois Craig (now both deceased). He attended Greenfield schools and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #997, the Greenfield Lodge of Elks, B.P.O.E 1296 and Post 81 of the Greenfield American Legion Post.

George held many jobs, many of which were in maintenance and bartending. He enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, video games, and darts, and was proud to work outside in the garden tending to his gladiolus. He was always willing to give anyone a helping hand and loved socializing with friends and family.

George is survived by the mothers of his children: Laura Newton, Linda Pulaski, and Suan Craig, as well as his 7 children: Tanyah Frost, Veronica Sanchez, Daniel Pulaski, Bethany Wiles, Candice Craig, Joshua Newton, and Tara Hopper, along with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves his siblings: Calista Crowell, Steven Craig Sr., Leon Craig, and Anne Louden. George was predeceased by his brother James (Bear) Craig and a partner of three years Marty Walker (2021). 

Graveside services will be observed on Monday, August 1st at 1:00 pm at the Green River Cemetery with Rev. David Neil, Pastor of the United Church of Bernardston to officiate.
