Fay Hofmann Obituary

Fay Bertha Hofmann of Greenfield, MA died peacefully from natural causes on February 18, 2025, at Cooley Dickenson Hospital Northampton, MA at the age of 81 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on August 20, 1943, in Buffalo, NY, daughter of Earl and Fay (Roty) Hofmann.

Fay worked in Greenfield at Arts Tire for 20+ years and built strong relationships with coworkers and customers. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, knitting, finding new recipes to cook for her friends and family, an avid reader and loved trying out new restaurants. She would often make trips to Buffalo, NY to spend time with family and enjoyed bringing her grandchildren with her. Doing fun activities such as visiting Niagara Falls, amusement parks and catching up with family during the visit. Fay was the go-to person, if you had a question/problem that you just couldn't figure out, she would have a solution.

In addition, she was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Fay (Roty) Hofmann of Buffalo, NY. Nephew Anthony (Guy) Nappo of Homosassa, FL. formally Buffalo, NY.

Survivors: her two daughters Fay Huenniger of Montague, MA. Robin (Huenniger) Petrowicz of Somersworth, NH. Two grandchildren Jordan and Kyle Quintana, two great grandchildren Wesley Goodnow and Warren Fisher of Greenfield, MA. Her sister Karen Hofmann of Anchorage Alaska formally Buffalo, NY. Nice Karen Nappo Sever, great nice Karen Sever, great nephew Michal Sever of Buffalo, NY.

To honor Fay there will be a Celebration of life at the Beach House in Northfield, MA. On Saturday May 17, 2025, at 1 PM. All those who new Fay and Family are welcome to join this celebration. Please make any donations/contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Fay's Honor.
