Turners Falls, MassachusettsDeborah Mae Miller, 63, of 5C Park Villa Drive, in the Turners Falls section of the Town of Montague, MA, passed on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at home, following a period of declining health.A native of Montague, MA, she was born at the former Farren Memorial Hospital on September 27, 1952 to Ralph and Jean (Martin) Miller and was educated in local public schools. Deborah was employed by Aliber’s Clothing Store in Greenfield, MA, later she owned and operated her own gift store for several years on Deerfield Street.She was an exceptional cook, who enjoyed entertaining her family and friends at the holidays and throughout the years with her culinary skills. Deborah enjoyed watching cooking shows on the Food Network and collecting cook books. A “foodie” at heart, she enjoyed dining out as well. She loved animals, none more than her feline companion “Princess”. Additionally, she loved to “chat” and keep in touch with family and friends over the telephone and enjoyed music.Survivors include her loving children: Michelina M. Siano and her husband Vincent, of Greenfield, MA, Talia L. Siano and her husband Christopher, of Bonita Springs, FL., Chad A. Anderson of Turners Falls, MA and Dawn-Marie Serretta of Northfield, MA. Additionally, she is remembered with great affection by her grandchildren: Meghan, Tyler, Avery, Vincent, Aiden and Angelina. Deborah leaves her siblings: Donald Miller and his wife Patricia, of Guilford, VT, Robert Miller and his wife Diane, of Hubbardston, MA and Tammy Aliseo and her husband Anthony, of Palenville, NY, as well as her Uncle, Butch Martin and his wife Maureen, of Greenfield, MA, along with several nieces, nephews, and several cousins to remember her with great affection. Deborah also leaves her friend and caregiver, Brenda. In keeping with Deborah’s request for simplicity, she will be cremated. A celebration of her life and inurnment, will be observed at the Pentecost Cemetery, Northfield, MA at a future date and time to be announced. Visiting hours are omitted.
