(Sturtze) Grandmaison, 72, of 13 Stearns Court, Hinsdale, NH, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH.A native of Worcester, MA, she was born on January 5, 1946 and was educated in local public schools, graduate of Worcester Commerce High in the Class of 1964. Cheryl was employed as a waitress for many years at the Marriott Spfld and Bay Path College, utilizing her personal skills in providing exceptional service to her patrons and acquiring many friends as result. Cheryl was an avid lover of Drum Corps and thoroughly enjoyed talking about her family’s involvement in it.Cheryl is lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Ronald G. Grandmaison, whom she married on February 14, 1970 in Worcester, MA. Additionally she leaves her daughter, Misty Loncar and her husband Timothy, of Conway, MA, and their children who she adored, Bradley and Logan. Cheryl is also remembered by her loving brother, Kenneth Sturtze, husband of the late Jean Fitzgerald Sturtze, of Worcester, MA, as well as many other extended family. Cheryl leaves her best friend, Kathy Solomon of Hinsdale, NH, who remembers her with great affection.The Grandmaison family will receive guests on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the McCarthy Funeral Homes, 36 Bank Row, Greenfield, MA. A Life Celebration in Cheryl’s memory, will be observed on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from the Second Congregational Church of Greenfield, MA, 16 Court Square Greenfield, MA at 2:00PM, with Rev. Corey Sanderson, Pastor, to officiate. A coffee hour will follow the service in the parlor of the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family following cremation.At the request of Chery’s family, flowers are asked to be omitted and as an expression of one’s affection, a charitable donation in her memory be considered to the Dakin Humane Society, P.O.
