Belmont, New HampshireAntoinette J. “Toni” (Maratea) Willoughby, 79, a resident of 407 Union Road, Belmont, NH and a native of Greenfield, MA, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Harris Hill Center Concord, NH, following a valiant struggle with lung cancer. Toni was born on August 17, 1938 in Greenfield, MA daughter of Lucy (Siano) and Thomas Maratea, Sr. She attended St. Michael’s Parochial High School, in Northampton, MA and furthered her education at Holyoke Community College. She worked at Western Mass Training Consortium for many years and was also proud of her long time employment at Fashion Bug. A few years after her retirement, she relocated from Greenfield, MA to Belmont, New Hampshire to live with her daughter, Cherie. She enjoyed music, fine dining, traveling and dancing. She was well known as a fashionista and many affectionately called her “The Queen”. She was a caring person who helped those around her in any way she could and was well loved by many whom she befriended over the years. Toni was engaged to Larry Hemphill of Loudon, NH. Previously, she was married to Richard W. Willoughby and her second husband, Eugene R. Villeneuve both of whom predeceased her. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Cherie W. Dennard and her husband, Kenwood, as well as by her step-children: Paul Willoughby and his wife, Nancy and her grandchildren Weston and Sarah Willoughby and Diane Hanson and her husband Rod, her sister-in-law Barbara Maratea, her nephew Dominick Maratea his wife Valerie Maratea and their daughter Haley Maratea, her loving nieces Michelina Siano and her husband, Vincent Arce, and Talia Siano and her daughter Angelina. Additionally, she leaves her cousin Dawn (Siano) Lang and her nieces Carol Cadran, Nancy Bonneau, Susan Crochier and Becky Knapp and their families . A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be observed on FRIDAY, May 4, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA at 10:00AM, with Rev. Fr. Timothy J. Campoli, Pastor as the celebrant. Rites of committal and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Greenfield, MA. A visiting hour will precede the services in church, from 8:15AM until 9:15AM at the McCarthy Funeral Homes, 36 Bank Row, Greenfield, MA. Expressions of affection in the form of a charitable contribution in Toni’s memory, are suggested to Holy Trinity Church, 133 Main Street, Greenfield, MA 01301.
